First and foremost, this belongs to caedesdeo. Without her, it wouldn't exist. Eighteen months ago I flailed that I didn't have an idea for a challenge I'd signed up for, and she responded with the basic idea that became this. I missed the deadline for the challenge (boy, did I ever), decided I hated this thing about nine times, abandoned it for months as my life took over, and then decided to kick it into shape. It started as the 'blue flower fic', but it's been called the Damn Epic since it passed the 10K mark. This is the result of a lot of work (mostly done in my school library), and even though it bears very little resemblance to the original seed, I hope you enjoy it :)

Title: An Eternity to Realise Our Dreams
Author: claire_debonair
Pairing: Arthur/Merlin, others hinted
Rating: R
Word Count: 52, 787
A/N: My sincere gratitude goes out to those who have helped prod this along its path to completeness over the last year and whatever: caedesdeo herself, the_backrow_kid for her flailing and encouragement, hikarinotabi for putting up with me whining about a fandom he isn't even in, Sarah for reading it, and the wondrous waldorph for betaing and making this the fic it is today. Seriously, without the work they put in, this would be terrible. I have Word.doc with over 7,000 words of edits thanks to the kicking the damn thing was given, so my grateful thanks are laid firmly at waldorph 's feet. To anyone else I've forgotten: eek, sorry. Comment here and I'll add you in :)
A/N2: This goes (so very, very) AU after Series One, and considering I started it before Series Two was even finished, any similarities are completely accidental.
Disclaimer: Not mine, and certainly not for profit.

Summary: Something breaks. Like a hair snapping when pulled too tightly, the infinitesimal build of tension for a brief moment and then a jerk of the hands holding the filament. A shudder runs through the air, invisible but powerful, as an indescribable quality changes. For a brief moment everything pauses and hangs, weightless, in a balance finer than anyone can comprehend. And then, struck by the hammer-blow of Wild Magic, it happens. Magic, vengance, strife and destiny collide in Camelot.

If anyone would like, I'll put this as a single post over on AO3. Otherwise, I would prefer to keep all comments within this journal.
This was started eleven months ago, just after I saw Star Trek, and I'm finally evicting it from the depths of my computer. I got halfway with it, decided that I hated it and didn't know where it was going, and shoved it into a folder. Months later I dug it up, rewrote most of it and finished it. Then back into the folder it went. Almost a year later, it's seeing the light of day *g*

Title: Love in a Minor Key
Pairing: Chris/Zach
Rating: PG
Summary: There's no slowing-down of time, no fanfare or blinding realisation. His breath doesn't catch or his knees go weak, and he doesn't suddenly feel like everything has changed.
Disclaimer: Not mine, not for profit.
A/N: Huge thanks to canadian_jay for the beta, who isn't in this fandom but still agreed to kick this into shape (it probably had something to do with my pleaing puppy eays XD)

Merlin fic.

Title: Exile
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Arthur hasn't seen Merlin in a year.
Disclaimer: Not mine, not for profit.
A/N: Sparked by this picture, and only exists because the_backrow_kid  poked me with a big stick. Will post to comms when it's not 4:45 in the freaking morning.

Short and not-sweet.Collapse )
