Merlin fic.

  • Jan. 3rd, 2009 at 5:03 PM

Title: Not Quite Mrs Banks Either
Pairing: Merlin/Arthur
Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: Complete an utter fiction. Sadly.
Summary: A sequel to Not Quite Mary Poppins. The next year in the Pendragon household, in which Merlin is no longer a nanny, Arthur is still a prat but a loveable one, Gaius saves the day and Uther does nothing.
A/N: Great thanks to[info]caedesdeofor betaing this after I sent it to her on New Year's Day. Edwin's surname is Chwilen because it means 'beetle' in Welsh.

A cookie to whever knows which book I stole this one's first line from <3 )

Title: Chains
Pairing: Merlin/Arthur
Rating: R/NC-17, depending on your tolerance.
Disclaimer: Not mine, never happened.
Summary: Another day, another magical entity bent on killing at least one of the Pendragons, and Arthur finally oversteps the mark.
A/N: Betaed by [info]hikarinotabi, which was very good of him because this isn't even his fandom <3 (I'm not neglecting you, [info]caedesdeo; I've got some erotic asphyxiation for you have at very soon).

*sighs happily* I wrote smut again.  )

Not Quite Mary Poppins

Colin and Bradley
This is my first foray out of American fandoms in about two years, not counting that tiny Colin/Bradley ficlet I did a little while ago. It's the second of my two Merlin fics (so far), but the first one I've managed to finish. The other is at 27,000 words and climbing, so have this one in the meantime.

Title: Not Quite Mary Poppins
Pairing: Arthur/Merlin
Rating: PG-13
Summary: The one where Merlin is a nanny, Arthur’s both a prat and a normal human being, Morgana schemes and Uther does relatively little.
Wordcount: 7,564
A/N: Huge thanks to [info]caedesdeo  for the prompt and excellent beta, and for not running away screaming when I poked her (she’ll learn). Also for reminding me about childproof caps on children’s medicine bottles *looks sheepish*
Please tell me if I sound too American; I’ve been writing in American for so long that it’s difficult for me to tell if it came through in this.
